If you participate on a blog or listserv dealing with the English language or linguistics (or especially "English as a Second Language"), you might send word of this site to others. Once you've posted it to the blog or listerv, send us the URL (web address) of your post. Assuming it's a forum that reaches a lot of people, we'll send you a free eBook (see a sample of the book here). We appreciate your help. We'd also like to move up the Google page rankings. For most search terms on Google, other resources still have a higher page rank than this site, simply because those resources have been around for a longer time (this site was announced in 2010). At Google and elsewhere, page rankings are determined in part by how many people click on the links for different search terms. You can help by just clicking on a link or two. Enter a Google search like (English) collocates or collocations or word frequency, and if you find this site listed, then click on that link. (For the first few months, you might need to go a few pages into the links to find this site listed). In addition, rankings at Google and elsewhere are in part a function of the number of links to a site. Although this might take a minute or two, please consider creating links to this site on your individual or institutional web pages. Just make sure that your page has a link to another page that is already being indexed by Google, and then create a link on that page to the the site at: http://www.wordfrequency.info. It usually takes a few months to move up the Google listings, but let's see if within 3-4 months we can be on the first or second page of results. Thanks for your help!
